CMCE has achieved the following over the years
CMCE has achieved remarkable successes since its inception which among others include the following;
1. Mobilized and facilitated the formation of forty-six (46) farmer groups in two districts (Asutifi North and South)
2. Supported fifty (56) smallholder farmer groups with farm inputs on Soya beans and maize production
3. Trained five hundred and fifty (550) rural farmers on agro business, value chain concept, tenancy agreement preparation, chemical application and post-harvest management
4. Organized food fair for fifty farmers annually
5. Facilitated for the establishmentof DistrictFarmer Network which is actively advocating for their rights
6. Supported One Hundred and Forty (140) women with livestock to help improve on their household income
7. Facilitated the formation and training of One hundred and twenty-five (125) Community Based Anti-violence Teams (COMBAT) from twenty-five communities in the Asutifi North and South districts to campaign against violence against women and children in their various communities
8. Sensitized Three thousand six hundred and fifty (3,650) women of reproductive age on the need to practice exclusive breast feeding, maternal and child nutrition, antenatal and post-natal care in Dormaa municipal area and Dormaa East district
9. Four thousand six hundred(4,600) women empowered through leadership skills training and sensitization in Dormaa municipal, Dormaa East, Asutifi North and south Districts and are contributing effectively to decision making process
10. One hundred and eighty (180) Teenage mothers counseled to returned to formal school and ten have complete basic school
11. District Parents Teacher Association Network formed, trained and strengthened in Asutifi North and South Districts and are actively advocating for the provision of adequate educational resources
12. Four communities in the Asutifi South District trained and supported to prepare their community Action Plan and advocated for the District Assemble to captured in the medium-term development plan in 2014
13. Six thousand seven hundred and fifty(6,750) community members sensitized on HIV/AIDS prevention and management in Dormaa municipal, Dormaa East,Asutifi North and South Districts.
With SODIA, we implemented five (5) years power project on women socio-economic empowerment targeting eight hundred (800) women in twenty-five (25) groups in Asutifi South District where three (3) child care centres were built.
